About the Author:
Omega Jade Williams is a creative being by nature and trade. Her mediums of choice are making hip-hop music, writing poetry along with a plethora of other things. Originally coming from San Diego, she moved to Vermont to make her mark in the world. When she is not creating, she is encouraging others to create or engaging with the community. This childrens' book, One Black 3 Red 3 Green, is based on a poem she wrote while working as a teaching artist with the Clemmons Family Farm. It's her way of bringing the cultural holiday of Kwanzaa into your lives to share with family and friends. Whatever holiday you may celebrate, you can include the practices within this book in your own family traditions. About the Illustrator:
Michael Levesque is an up and coming visual artist who currently resides in New Mexico. His visuals can be best described as abstract with an eclectic chef's kiss. His talents don't end there either. He also dabbles in music production, rapping/emceeing and videography. He met Omega Jade while part of a music tour along the East Coast. They have continued to collaborate creatively ever since.
